I met a Black woman while out of country and she said “I’ve heard of the Black Women’s Business Collective.” I said nah you’re probably thinking of another org Then she sent me a text weeks later with my Entrepreneur feature & I was like 😳 The moral: believe in yourself more.

I’ve had to resign in the middle of a global pandemic due to a racist nonprofit CEO. I wasn’t supported by anyone in the org. I was bullied by their lawyers and close friends because I have proof. I stayed silent. I lost income. This stuff ain’t new. And, allyship is a myth.
