this was a decision we made very early on. Most people, esp. bad investors think unless you go for enterprise you wont be making money but thats not true.
now we are getting traction and making money faster because of that decision

Lots of use cases around vector search doesn’t require a cloud vectorDB until u have 10k+ vectors per user. You also have to wait couple hundred ms to get the embedding from API providers.
Client side vector search solves that.
