This GP, one of SF-24's biggest weaknesses has been exposed. We don't have quali pace and we're not good hards, both in relation to how much heat we can put in the tyres, imo, which affects grip (evident from poor T-1-2-3). Leclerc always notices such weaknesses before though.

It's clear Ferrari does not have the qualifying pace, mostly due to tyre prep, and the cool temps in Suzuka don't help. It makes us better with deg in the race but vulnerable to dirty air with the track position. Fingers crossed that the Imola updates will address this

This is exactly what I mean when I say he has “mid-mentality”. Consistency is valuable in a mid-field team. But if you are in Ferrari you should always at least aim for a podium. And we saw this season, with one of the cars, that if you aim for it, it’s not impossible.

Ferrari’s biggest fault is that they have recruited two drivers with VERY different driving styles. When the car works for one, it doesn’t work for the other. This could be mitigated if they were to prioritize one driver but they don’t do that, opposite to RB for example.

This year's car has a weak front, something LEC doesn't enjoy. Most of the development plan was set last year. What could fix the car can't be done due to the cost cap. When LEC has the right car, he can bring magic and perform beyond the car's potential. We have to wait for 2024
