There is no below average paying role in data. Check the stats. The lowest ranking position is a Data Entry Specialist, and they average $30,000-50,000. That’s the easiest side gig you could find. All you need is 60-80 WPM typing speed and basic Excel knowledge.

You could start with PowerBI, SQL, and Agile Methodologies. I will be adding a Lean Six Sigma live study group from WhatsApp as well. This is literally the basic skill set needed for entry level Data Analytics roles. All you need is 3-6 weeks of discipline to acquire these.

@fairytogepis They are set up on a 9-5 schedule, but remote roles can be worked whenever (depending on company structure and restrictions). You can log your hours properly, and work outside of them to complete projects. Just depends. Usually easy work that can be done whenever, from wherever.

Do not be afraid to climb the latter if you are a beginner. It’s a fast climb, trust me. My first contracted role in data was $90,000. It started as a 3 month contract at $35,000. It lasted 1 year and 6 months.
