@wrycountenance @goblinodds you can both be happy that the program is going away, and feel bad that someone likely generally qualified - but who had been shoehorned into the program - will directly suffer for basically no reason other than wrong place, wrong time

I feel bad for Trajan, and for the situation he found himself in where he "had" to apply to the programs for people of color, etc. I'm sure he could have qualified for other, non racially oriented programs, but it's too late I am however glad this program is being dismantled

what's silly about this is that the male/female gender binary just IS the norm and anything other than it IS unusual norm/unusual is not a good/bad dichotomy but it's crazy making behavior to suggest a norm isn't the norm and unusual behavior isn't unusual
