@chris_tomasso I love that assumption. I always assume the inverse of that and it can get me in trouble from time to time

@onechrishanson @thejustinwelsh love a contrarian take in a sea of agreement. this is true in some cases. in many others, employees are succeeding in spite of the culture and systems. especially most of corporate america.

@kevinfengcs88 @thejustinwelsh it'll maybe go into your pocket 1 year later when your boss decides you're worth a 5% raise. maybe. if you're lucky.

@pneumorphosis + you tend to not have all the facts or feelings of the person you're advising. it's hard to give good advice under those circumstances. love this post friend

@KateBour Because then you'd have to select an audience, narrow that down to an ideal client, and narrow that down to a set of pains that they have in common. And that is some hard work. Not any harder than wasting six months speaking to no one. But still hard.

@EthanLagahid @thedankoe PB - yeah X is pretty rough for reach I've noticed, especially now. Ad Agency - this makes sense + many creators aren't ready to spend the $$$ given that most of them I've met don't have an offer
