I went through all 57 of Tyler Lockett's NFL Regular and Postseason touchdowns and ranked them.
Obviously this was done completely objectively, and you may or may not agree with my rankings and that's okay. I just want to highlight the career of an underrated elite player.
Seahawks will travel 31,600 miles this season, the most in the NFL, per
@billsperos
.
Here’s how much each team will travel prior to the NFL’s full schedule release Thursday.
Ah man. Think of all the stuff Russ is going through with the Broncos rn and he still must've dropped everything he was doing to get up to Seattle to be there for this.
Whatever differences these guys had, it doesn't matter when it comes to Pete. In the end it was all love.
If you haven't seen enough from Geno at this point idk what to tell you.
Seahawks had 38 yards rushing, completely abandoned the run by the end, the o-line is what it is, and his receivers had some bad drops, and he still clutched up and brought them out to a win.
He is the guy
Never forget that Pete took all the heat for the end of 49. Never blamed Bevell, never blamed Russ, never blamed Lockette.
Eventually people veered blame to other parties but he took all of sports media saying he made the worst call in history and his response was to be positive
"It's worth crying over."
This message from Pete has been entirely about love. Whatever you take away from his tenure as the Seahawks' head coach, it was about love. Love for the players, love for the staff, love for the team, love for the city of Seattle, love for us. 1 of 1.
Gale Sayers isn’t available, name an NFL player that you wish had better health during their career
I’ll start: Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Cadillac Williams. I still have his Rookie Card in a case.
Trade idea:
Seahawks get Baker Mayfield and a '23 4th
Browns get DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Jamal Adams, Blitz the mascot, and Michael Bennett will sit in the Dawg Pound for 5 home games.
Seem fair?
Since Metcalf was drafted, he and Tyler Lockett are
-
#1
in receptions between two teammates with 810
-
#2
in receiving yards between two teammates with 10,541
-
#1
in receiving touchdowns between two teammates with 83
This was Pete from the last game greeting Tyler Lockett back to the sideline after his game winning catches. I'm always going to be grateful that his players never quit on him and he went out with a win.
I think the Niners try to load up around a QB on a rookie contract for another year. I’m a Purdy fan but I’m not going to expect him to out duel Mahomes.
Whether through words or actions or a simple gesture to a frustrated QB, all the man did was give.
If you give of yourself, love will return.
Hope Pete can feel the outpouring of love tonight.
I went through all 31 of Chris Carson's NFL Touchdowns and ranked them.
Keep in mind this is only my opinion, and you might not agree with my ranking! I merely wanted to celebrate a player I love.
This list is touchdowns only, so awesome plays like his flip are not included.
Tyler Lockett & DK Metcalf combined since Metcalf was drafted:
645 Catches (1st in NFL among receiving duos)
8,357 Yards (2nd in NFL among receiving duos)
70 Touchdowns (1st in NFL among receiving duos)
Russ was the best deep ball thrower in the league for years, he gets traded, and that year the best deep ball thrower in the league was.... Geno Smith.
Coincidence? No.
When a 6'5, 305lb rookie defensive tackle intercepted Rodgers and returned it 65 yards for a touchdown and the refs had to bail out the golden boy with a dubious flag unrelated to the return to nullify the TD.
Brock Purdy: hits multiple defenders in the hands but they drop the ball
Jordan Love: legitimately has like one bad throw all game and it's picked off
Come the fuck on
In honor of a fan-favorite undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver making the Seahawks roster:
I went through all 56 of Doug Baldwin's NFL Regular and Postseason touchdowns and ranked them.
Obviously, this was done completely subjectively, and you may not agree and that's OK.
Quandre Diggs on another comeback
#Seahawks
win:
"You seen that dog meme?"
The one with the X-ray with dogs in it?
"Yeah, That’s what we’ve got. We’ve got a bunch of them."
Seahawks are
#4
in points allowed per game with their backup SS, 3rd string , and 5th string corners starting
Like I don't know why more people aren't talking about that. That's bananas
If the Seahawks and 49ers both win next week they'll roll into Thanksgiving at 7-3 each and the vibes are going to feel very like the 2019 week 10 game
According to sources Julian Love and his wife, Julia, have named their baby Jayden to keep up the family alliteration. Both parents have "J" names, as does Julian's other son Jalen Hurts.
