We need to remove all Covid restrictions as hospital and ICU figures have remained stable as a result of high levels of vaccination and natural immunity. Hospitality businesses should now be allowed to operate as normal & the use of the covid pass should be abandoned.

This story backs up what I'm hearing from constituents - this scheme is a huge irritant to the public. Millions of bottles & cans not returned. Seems to be just an extra tax on people who were already recycling. Another great initiative of the Greens!

JP McManus employs hundreds, pays tax on what he earns here, set up a company abroad & pays tax there. Nothing wrong with that. He voluntarily donates millions of his own money to good causes. Let's leave the envy to one side & celebrate what's being done!

I have urged the Taoiseach & the Min for Educ to lift the rule that mandates the wearing of masks by school children. In early Dec, Gov said it would be a temp measure and would be reviewed in Feb. With much milder Omicron variant, mask mandates for school children should now go.

Why is #Lyricfm being moved from #Limerick .To my knowledge it is run efficiently. Is everything that comes out of Dublin as cost effective? Why does Limerick have to take the hit - this is a huge blow to arts & media in Limerick. Where is #RTE & Gov commitment to the regions?

I was shocked to hear of the passing of Jerry O'Dea. Jerry was a very popular Councillor & publican. I held my Advice Clinic in his pub for decades now and knew Jerry and his family long before he was elected. My thoughts & prayers are with his family & friends at this v sad time

I sought an assurance from the Taoiseach that the 26 students in Limerick who were not offered a secondary school place will be accommodated shortly & raised the psychological impact on an 11-or 12-year-old of not being offered a school place and getting 11 letters of rejection:

The Taoiseach & Government need to get their act together re CervicalCheck scandal. Gov made a promise which appears to be worth nothing. So called mediation system is a sham & women like Ruth Morrissey continue to be dragged through the courts.
