Today is the go live day for @scTrends_update! A consortium to both review *commercial* technologies, but also study market trends to assess angles for how technologies may differentiate themselves.
Have you ever wondered which single cell/spatial omic technology to use? There's lots of methods developed in academia, but no review of marketed products. Check the @scTrends_update ( commentary in @NatureBiotech by @wildtypehuman & @AdamCribbs

This is my new favourite twitter account. I wish it was satire. Bravo.
The UK taxpayer paid £499,649 to buy 15 Electric Porsches for the British Embassy in Tirana- to be donated to Albanian Prisons. ‘Part of a drive to net zero.. the required vehicles should be delivered at once’ Contract awarded to Porsche Albania by the FCDO @WokeWaste

This is low-key hilarious!
Dear German government, it's great that you have programmes supporting aspiring entrepreneurs financially. BUT, if the target group are entrepreneurs so early that they're not allowed to incorporate for the next 6 months (actual requirement) don't ask me about a pitch deck, validation road map and a budget. You are only filtering for people you DO NOT want in this programme.

@s8mb @StarkClimate Yeah, more efficiencies in compute mean that you can scale in other ways... unfortunately, we will also need server farms in the UK (not only where there's cheap power). For example, we generate huge amounts of sequencing data... preferably, you deal with that on site!

This looks to be a great event... and I'll be out of the country :(
Hello, London! I'm excited to join this Jan. 29 conference @TheCrick on tech-driven drug discovery. Organized by Rosie Rodriguez @RelationRx. All proceeds go to high-risk/high-reward cancer research @DamonRunyon Register:

@RuxandraTeslo Not to hand, but there's 3 approaches to take seriously: oral rPTH-like (rPTH usually subcutaenous, not enjoyable for elderly women), the "clean Romo" category (reduce side effects, will be hard to prove though), and new mechanisms (what we're doing).

@AmbJapanUK Thanks Hiroshi! Where can we find out more about the deal? Is biotech involved at all? I was impressed by the research I saw in the country!
