@DonaldWaltman6 When it comes to wild-caught seafood, frozen actually means fresh. That is to say, our seafood is frozen for flavor. If you can’t enjoy seafood right off the boat, “quick freezing” means vibrant fillets retain high nutrition and clean, delicious flavor!

@MamaMe43 At Wild Alaskan Company we only sell wild-caught seafood sourced from Alaska. This means that we do not deal with any farmed fish, as finfish farming is illegal in the state of Alaska, nor do we offer any genetically modified salmon.

@rob4golf Few things as delicious as well prepared sockeye. If you are used to cooking farmed salmon (which tends to have more fat than wild salmon due to being raised in captivity), then you will likely overcook wild salmon (especially sockeye) leading to the experience you’ve described.

Halibut is a flatfish, but it’s actually born to swim like a salmon. Then, while still young, its left eye wanders over to join the right eye on one side of its head, where it eventually becomes fixed in place as the bones in its skull ossify. #FishFactFriday
