There are many tank engines on the 'Island Of Sodor.' Some of them, are a bit more erm, as James himself would say, "disgusting" than the rest of them.
Folds in the pages of books on illustrations will forever be the death of us all, I tell you. Not so splendid anymore I'd say.

I think it's common knowledge nowadays that Oliver's role in "Emily's New Coaches" was going to be Toby, based on this concept art. What I didn't know, is that it originally said Percy, and Toby was the second choice. Pretty cool with each change, the character got more unique.

Latest custom. This, if you didn't know, is a 'Diesel Brake Tender.' Since the diesels breaking power wasn't as strong as steam engines, they were used in various trains, until being withdrawn in the 70's. Never seen this made in Wooden Railway, and I think it turned out great!

I just got Capsule Plarail Boulder, and I found out that if you flip open the bottom, he has a set of wheels to run on the rails, as well as roll when you close up the bottom.
Capsule Plarail constantly out does itself with clever gimmicks like this, on such a small scale.

I still find it BAFFLING that they actually removed Molly’s lamp Irons to put on Thomas.
That’s right guys, Drayton Manors way of fixing props is by destroying other ones. No way of making replica lamp irons, let’s TEAR them off of Molly. Goodness this makes me the most upset.

Nobody ever explores opening up the engines smoke box to clean it. It happens obviously, there is no way around it. I personally think the idea of it being shown instead of dancing around the subject really cool.
