After unplugging my USB devices one by one, I found the culprit: my AT2020 microphone was sending rogue media control signals. Saw similar reports on Reddit too. What a wild mystery!

One thing that confused me is who the target is for the App Store advertisements. I mean, users already use the App Store and there's no alternative choice, so they can't simply stop using it. Why does Apple continue to put out these ads?
