Spoke to a woman after the dip who said another lady had brought a small box into the sea with her, opened it and spread some ashes. She, her friends and a few others saw and, without knowing the lady, rallied round her and linked hands for the 5mins challenge. Women rock.

in memory of my dad & grandad 💕 Due to Covid the event has been pushed back to 2021, & so I decided to do the 455 miles on a turbo trainer in my garden instead🚴🏼♀️🙌 It truly was a week like no other!

18 years ago today my dad died from cancer, aged 50. He’s very much still loved and missed in equal measure. Tonight I’ll put on a James Bond movie, open a packet of digestives and pour a big glass of milk, just like we used to do together 💛

Nineteen years ago today my dad died following a battle with cancer. It’s hard to believe so much time has passed, because in many ways it feels like it was only yesterday. He’s still the bravest person I’ve ever known 💛
