When I paid him the balance, he logged into his phone again. I later realized he was betting, hoping to earn more money. He gambled all the money and lost. He requested that I add him more because the "work was too much." I reminded him that the agreement was that the labour for the work would cost Ksh 1400. I added him Ksh 100. He didn't have enough fuel in his motorbike to go back home. He rode on his motorbike back home with nothing earned. He lost all the money to betting. Gambling is a menace. It destroys men and stains the society. Stop betting. Stop it. #ManDay
