Je kunt natuurlijk nooit écht zeggen, 'ik zou'. Maar ik ging van vrolijke tomboy naar onzekere puber. Het schuurde zo, dat de wereld leuker en vrijer en veiliger was voor jongens, dat ik nooit zou voldoen aan vrouwelijke idealen, maar ook nooit een jongen kon zijn.
