@ClareWBoyd @lecowell One of these bad boys. It probably didn’t work cause you weren’t seeding perpendicular to the earths magnetic field 😉

@BuffaloAgLtd Welcome to Southern Alberta. Except along rivers, yes, most of the trees here are introduced. Mainly an effort by Canadian government from about 1901-1941

@BantrySeedFarms Me too. I blame drinking dugout water growing up. Started to taste pretty scuzzy by February. Coffee or milk were better options.

Getting closer to #plant2025. 94 days to May 01. If you are still making crop plans, talk to your @NutrienAgCda teams about seed treatments like @growloveland Cover 2, or @syngentacanada ApronMaxx Peas. Then check out Nutrien Rewards ( and start collecting your points.

@tweetsbydeclan Knew someone who got some smoke flares, marked holes, then used a rodenator. He figured it worked for a few years until they moved back in.

@AllamFarmer @ted_someone Bingo. Speaking my language. What’s been fun recently is explaining that if you’re planning to use a live biological, ditch and dugout water may actually be better.

@ted_someone @AllamFarmer What!? You’re not a fan of the outrageous tik tok style vid? 🥲 You’re right though. Good quality water at a high enough volume, using branded chem according to label specs, and you probably only seeing a marginal improvement. Different folks have different priorities
