Fascinated by life! I have a love for retro gaming, cars, technology, and can fix anything mechanical or electrical. We can disagree and still be friends.
@CatWorkers
That kitty looks just like my best friend who sadly passed away 2 years ago. In this photo, he’s just sleeping, he loved being under the blankets and also laying on my arm while using the computer.
@il0venostalgia
I loved those, but man, you’re really selling it to the new kids. Makes me want to bust shoulder mounted boombox, jump on and jam out to Megadeth as I think of the 99 ways I could die on that thing. Rad AF. 🤘😱😈☠️
@retrotink2
dreaming of the day you make the TINK5X an upgrade device (like the 32X) for 4K. Need some 9x! Reminded me of an old 32x ad, and borrowed a couple pics from
@5Xpixels
and
@SuperGameBro
@Mike_Katz
I’m a customer, I have ok service, and I have an ok price. It ends there. The 5G icon on my phone is not indicative of good “speed”, just as a car with a bolted on wing doesn’t mean fast. It’s there, we all see it, but it doesn’t necessarily mean anything.
@FrappMocha
Seems great to me for a 7 hour shift. That’s a very generous pay wage for this type of work. I think that is respectable work that I would take a lot of pride in.
@MadScientistFF
The ignorance that lead to optimism and excitement for all things when I did not yet have bills and other obligations attached to my function.
@collingall
You’ve outdone yourself! Just check out the original design compared to the new one! This is just perfection and amazing to see the quality always top tier. New one on bottom. Thank you! ☺️
Made my friends little ROM hack into a cartridge so they can play on real hardware. As always, composite looks outstanding on the
@retrotink2
RetroTINK5x.
@MKBHD
Why would people judge you for paying for a service you like? I pay for YouTube, and for Spotify, and I support people on Patreon that I hope to help grow because I enjoy those services and experiences they bring. I also enjoy Twitter, so I’m lost on some of the anger. 🤟
Not the best at taking pictures of its glory, but another feature of the
@retrotink2
RetroTINK5x is strengthening the relationship with my wife as I take pics of her DuckTales gameplay on this fine Friday evening.
@MarkHamill
I like how real life you is trying to destroy evil, just like your portrayal of someone heroic that I can’t talk about while respecting your right to strike.
@retrotink2
Lots of love for you Mike Chi and of course
@MrsRetrotink
too. People are damn lucky they get to interface with you at all. I don’t get to just chat with the person that designed my iPhone. You have bridged me with my childhood and good times playing games with my wife. Thatslove
@PicturesFoIder
On the left is correctly identified as live with your parents forever. The one sound piece of advice me dad gave me before he died is that I could have whatever I wanted as long as I worked for it. A defeatist attitude will consume you. I know this is just a meme, but never quit.
@iFixRetro
I’m not as good at this stuff as you are likely, but I did get a busted up FFC fixed for someone that botched their PS1D install and it works perfectly now. I don’t have a microscope, but used a magnifying lamp.
@motoxxx484
I was just wondering if something like this existed. I worked hard just last week on this thing that was tortured by someone for some unknown reason. After several days of torture and making make-shift contacts with filed down paperclips, and fixing damaged traces and lifted
@myretrolifeshow
I’m sorry that someone shared that nasty comment. Don’t let one nasty comment get to you. Your dad is part of your story. I miss my dad, and I wish he were more present as your dad was when I grew up. Thank you for sharing some of your precious moments with us.
@Insurrection33
Doesn’t have to be game related. I love your products and knowing when the people behind them have heart, is a huge win for all of us. So happy to see you care for your patients. 🤟
@8bitesquire
Well, the game cartridge is being emulated in a sense, especially more-so if it uses mappers and other enhancement chips. But geez, you really wanted to toss that grenade and casually whistle your way out. 😚
@Voultar
People less experienced than you might try and undercut, but who cares...you get what you pay for. The name "Voultar" means something to this community and so now both implies premium with quality professional work.
@RetroRGB
@retrotink2
@EposVox
There’s always the Analogue approach where somehow mysterious not official firmware gets leaked out that definitely has nothing to do with anyone at Analogue at all.
@retrotink2
Dude, just get a RetroTINK5x. Haven’t you seen the new PVM and other scanline or mask modes? Tinks are fantastic and you won’t have to deal with aging tech with yolks, convergence, and high voltage stuff.
@greg16676935420
But you just added 17 and then subtracted it…you can do that with any number added and then subtracted. I’m confused on why it’s crazy?
@CastleManiaRyan
It’s Metal 🤘 In the spirit of all the problems Mike Chi caused with moons, a I felt like vibing with a little Paint fan art. It’s all
@retrotink2
fault for doing moon stuff to tube people.
@ShenmueContext
I guess it’s in true Shenmue fashion. Start something amazing, but then don’t finish it. At this point, it wouldn’t be Shenmue otherwise.
@Voultar
It’s nice there are options out there, but I’m 100% supporting Mike and the TINK since I likely won’t personally use any of the competing features. I own Dan’s other products and they are wonderful, but the man (or the people) behind product are also important to me.
@retrotink2
@MrsRetrotink
Wow! Just the sheer kindness demonstrated by the Chi’s 🧀. The TINK5x has brought so much joy to my life, I just can’t thank you both so much from the bottom of my heart. With love and warm regards, Happy Holidays to you both.
#RetroTINK5x
@Voultar
I’m just glad you’re feeling better. The world needs more brilliant and sensible people like you in it. For years I have learned specific things from you about troubleshooting and rectifying flaws in hardware designs and you have always been thoughtful and helpful to so many
@AxiomVerge
I don’t know how I missed Axiom Verge 2 on
@xbox
, but I have righted that wrong this evening. I already had it on my PS, but I love your game and got another copy and way to play.
@Voultar
💯. Thank you for posting this. As I said before I’m with Mike all the way. Anyone that talks trash on Mike is no friend of mine and no friend to this community.
@retrotink2
@Voultar
I wouldn’t care if it’s $2, its value isn’t in its cost, it’s in the experiences it provides, the ease of use, and the fact that modern televisions lack or suck when it comes to scaling outdated and obscure resolutions and/or maintaining low latency. Thank you engineers.
@PcPhilanthropy
My friend had one fall off before. I soldered a piece of solid core wire for him because the pin was missing. It still works to this day, but it was tough getting it just right since his was the 2nd row in.
@cyothevile
I’ve grown up with it, so it’s not something I had to get into, and it’s nothing that I’ve grown out of. I guess it only feels natural to me. I’m having a harder time getting into modern gaming, because I hate DLC, pay to win, and no finished games on disc.
@HumansNoContext
I don't know why I keep getting this question or a similar one, but no matter who it is, I will ALWAYS return someone's money that was sent to me by mistake. It doesn't matter who it is. If I didn't earn it, it doesn't belong to me.
@SawyerMerritt
@elonmusk
If they get rid of their crummy car dealers (protected by the government) that mark up vehicle costs, they might be able to sell more cars.
