The ‘Once Stowaways’ maxi-single is on #Bandcamp via @MonochromeMotif. Includes a new mix of that #HomeSounds track, an early version of ‘The Sight Of Your Smile’ and a sprightly piece, not available elsewhere, called ‘These Northern Cities.’

New @voltage_poetry maxi-single out, via @MonochromeMotif, on #Bandcamp this Friday. It includes three songs; a remix of ‘Once Stowaways’ plus the demo of another #HomeSounds track and an uptempo number not available anywhere else.
Secondly we’ve got a new Bandcamp exclusive 3 track single from @voltage_poetry also releasing this Friday.

@MonochromeMotif I’ve spent the afternoon at work, with colleagues from French and English bodies working on a chalk landscape #geopark (legacy from an @interregeurope project), which was one nice escape. Some Euroland-tinged ditties from me may feature on @ShowHomebrew this evening too!

@Kiffie8 It made for a very fine record (and I enjoy hearing it), but I’d argue they’ve made better… ‘Everything Counts’, ‘Stripped’ and ‘New Dress’ come immediately to mind. I think ‘Policy of Truth’ and ‘Insight’ are better songs too, though maybe not so distinctively recorded.

My album #HomeSounds is a #lofi #electronica one, yet also “reminiscent of confiding in a close friend while lounging under starlit skies” (@RevivalSynth), a “fantastic record” (@John__Serrano) and “went remarkably well with my butternut squash” (@Soulscorch101)…
On the face of it, lo fi electronic pop, but underneath the surface……

#HomeSounds songs (9) - ‘Who Expected Alexanderplatz?’ Inspired by seeing a building in Cambridge which reminded me of one in that particular part of Berlin. It’s about nice surprises.
