Delighted to reveal my latest album 'Living Past Midnight'.
Take a look at the video then check out the link below.
Only available on bandcamp.
Thank you!
I'm going to start softly unfollowing anyone that ever implies or goes to extra lengths to promote musicians based on their age only.
I've had enough of it.
Music is not a youth cult. I don't care if you think it is. You are wrong.
Why would a local arts festival only want a covers band? This is what is wrong with the music industry. There are countless bands, groups and solo artists making original music. Why only a covers band? There's pubs for that. Isnt there?
I'm here to share music. Not just mine. Yours. So what you got?
Note: mainstream need not apply... I'm after something alternative.
You know... music that means something.
Fear not dear friends. I have just released my 12th album but the first of this boys life. Love. Fear. Confusion. Forgiveness. Love. Love. Love. This is me. So listen. Xxx
Dear Friends,
I have just released how to build a boy, my 12th album of 2021 on pre-order.
It has been an amazing year in many ways and I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you so much for everything. Sending you all love.

So.. I'm Kiffie. I started producing music at the age of 40, 14 months ago. I write music by ear, about things that shouldn't make me sad but do. I'm an emotional person, so my music reflects that. I will be performing live in August hopefully.

I want to buy some music on bandcamp. I dont know what to get. I'm after something that tugs at heart strings and is by an indie artist recording at home.
Hey everyone! It's confirmed! It's the 40th

I'm taking the rest of the year off all socials unless something cool happens.
Focus on your music and be a positive influence to others. Support them. Share in love and believe in your goals.
See you soon.
Your friend Kiffie. X
I fundamentally disagree that music Twitter is only cliques and small genres supporting each other.
I support everyone I interact with.
Country, pop, synth, rock, metal weird stuff. All sorts.
Only two years ago I ordered my first drum machine and synth. I had no idea at all how to make music. I had no idea that DAWs existed. I just felt a huge need to create and for the first time in my life in had a bit of money and the time to be creative. The rest is... the future.
This is my bandcamp. The place I communicate how I feel before I know I feel it.
Part of a musical adventure that started 11 months ago and that is, I believe, the most prolific and original profile there. Synths, piano, drum machine, guitar, me. Xxx
Last month I changed my day job.
Forever.
Now I spend my week helping young people realise that life is worth living.
It's a gentle approach. And one that I find really rewarding. I hope I will be able to make a difference. I hope I can help them.
This year I have made 12 albums. 6 EPs. A couple of singles. All made by me, using hardware. I have collaborated with many many people and friends but everything (except 2 tracks) has been performed, mixed and mastered... here... sometimes I just dont know what else to say.
Who is seeing this tweet?
I'm fed up with not seeing tweets I want to see and with being told that 'I've not seen any tweets from you'.
What a balls up twitter is.
Over the last 11 months I've just tried to share my music and make friends. I dont know why I make so much music, I have always kept my promises. 12 albums within a year, each the best I could do at the time. To try to heal myself. Thank you. Sleep well, live well, love, Forgive.
Really happy to let you know that 'A Sense of Unease' has been lovingly reviewed in issue 107 of
@ElectronicMagUK
by the marvellous Mat Smith.
It's incredible that I've been included in the world's best electronic music magazine twice in one year!
Let me explain... I make music, from my soul, that I don't believe exists, + i dont give a sh*t about rules or norms. So I just make music to heal myself. The fact you like it 2 is astonishing. I believe good music is good music and it doesnt matter how it's produced. I AM KIFFIE
Don't forget this is the overture to my next album. There is also a preview of one of the songs on soundcloud and soon*, there will be a worldwide unveiling of a track on a radio show* before the album is released at the end of August.
*it's a secret!
Update! Yesterday I sold enough digital downloads on bandcamp to be able to afford to release my next album on CD! 🤯 Vinyl is still out of the question. But I'm encouraged to set up a campaign now!
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
I've just had confirmation that a voice actor who's been heard by billions is going to work on some narration on some of my next big project.
This is huge.
It's not bandcamp friday, it's not even a Friday, but that doesn't mean you can't post your music.
Isn't that why you made it?
Mines below, share yours, why not?
In only a few hours time I will release my 12th album of 2021. From obscurity and ignored to national radio and performing live. Dreams can come true. Phase two awaits! I am KIFFIE THE DREAMER.
4 years ago, no-one reading this had ever heard of me. I'd made about 100 tracks that were all rubbish and I hadn't joined any social media. I'd owned a synthesiser for 5 months...
Now I've got 19 albums, approaching 50 collaborative projects, been on the BBC a few times and...
When I first joined twitter in september 2020 I had just 2 purposes. The first was to share my music. To ask people to listen, to give feedback and perhaps even to work together with people on music projects.
The second was to make friends...
I think there is a growing movement in the underground music scene. And that listeners in gen Y and Z have had enough of polished autotuned same sounding nonsense pop.
I think diversity of sound is coming back.
People are craving for meaning in music again.
Brilliant evening!
Had a long call with a TV producer who is at least interested in using my music for a series. There's others in the running but even the chance to talk to them was awesome.
On late shift tomorrow so I guess I can celebrate now? 🍾
It is here. Introducing 'Home' my 6th Album of 2021. Experimental, synth-pop, dark, and romantic.
If you are considering a purchase please put it off until
#bandcamp
initiates their
#JuneTeenth2021
fundraiser.
A new home is there for the taking...
This is a thank you. I appear to be in a social bubble here where people support each other and do almost nothing but share in friendship and a passion for music. I just did a trawl of news topics. Twitter can be a really horrible place. You are beautiful. Xxx
About a year ago I sent a message saying how absolutely amazing our music community is. I tempt fate to say it again.
You are all in inspiration to me.
Thank you.
This is my dad. He is the most naturally gifted musician I know. He is also a classically trained violinist and founder of the folk rock band I sometimes play bass in. His love for all music has, I guess you could say, influenced mine. I was brought up saturated in music.
Would love for you to check out this album. It's available on CD. And if you've already bought it would be great if you could leave a review in bandcamp. It helps hugely.
Thank you.
In other news my sister has just had a baby after years of trying and several procedures. She is a reminder to everyone that hard work, belief and determination can help you achieve your dreams.
Music should always be blind. For me, it doesnt matter who or what you are or want to be... good music is good music, it's as simple as that in my opinion. Make me feel something and I'll like it.
Today is a dream come true! I also made a connection tonight with a film producer who is 'interested in principle' to get me to compose the soundtrack to their Scifi space epic. Small budget arthouse thing! That's amazing. I don't think I can take much more!
Overjoyed...

I'm sorry to say that there are some indie artists I've heard recently on some shows and things... that...
...are 100% using AI music generators and lapping up the praise. To anyone with ears, it's obvious.
If this is you... shame on you.
I always say... 'do something every day, no matter how large or small, that will bring you one step closer to your musical dream'.
This could be anything, a relisten, an email, a chat, finding the right sound, a collab, vocal exercises etc.
Just never give up.
Excited to reveal the album name and cover art of my final album of 2021. Work on it is paused but there is still plenty of time.
There is a title track... but it might not be on this album. Weird.
Update.
Some of my music is on spotify.
From this moment on I won't distribute any new music there or ever share any links to it.
It's lost its way and now seems to think that only famous acts are not fake artists.
Bullshit.
I've had some troubling discussions recently.
Yes I tweet about my music a lot. So what? I tweet about your music a lot too. And I support you as much as I can either with words or with actions. I hope that just one might get noticed by beyond this sphere.
In 24 hours '10' will be fully released. It is an album that shows the development of my sound. Expect piano, synths and guitars. Expect fears, loves and losses. I would really appreciate as many shares of this as possible. In friendship.
Friends. A huge thank you for your love and support. Sometimes it is hard to remember that without you, I am just a sad guy making silly music. I will keep making it. This is one of things you can rely on. Xxxx
I am going to succeed. My way. Aiming higher than they expect me to. Seeking and taking every opportunity. Relentlessly promoting my music. Ignoring their rules. Making more and more better and better music.
If you're an artist using AI to help you compose music you are not an artist at all.
Only people with either no skill of their own or no ideas uses AI for this purpose.
How fucking dare you pretend to be an artist if you rely on these inhuman tools to make music.
@lad1768
Meanwhile the indie scene is releasing on CD and bandcamp so that people have to buy it. Music shouldn't cost fractions of a penny. Unless you just want trash mainstream nonsense.
Electronic music haters can get expletive ridden. If it's a wav... it's electronic. Pickups are electronic. Microphones are electronic. Speakers are electronic. Amplifiers and fx pedals are electronic. The only music that isnt is live and unplugged acoustic music.
