I wrote this in @MiddleEastEye wondering why it has taken so long to ease sanctions on Syria. The US issued a general licence on 6 January for just 6 months. The EU announced it would lifting some sanctions on 27th January. But no news from the UK?

Want to change this dynamic? Then the Gov needs to radically improve T&Cs so Brits actively take these jobs and don’t train to be nurses and drs and then leave for Oz and Canada
