@dudufolio hmm - maybe due to implementation complexity ? but generally thoughts on smaller subscription + optional credits?

@jarin it’s a smoothed mouse, by my screen recording software makes sense for a demo video, but yeah my mouse doesn’t move like that when actually using the mac!

100%. i want to get something good out first, power users can enjoy. then i'll dive into making some form of small LLM to classify your query with low latency, so i can make an "auto" or simpler experience. possibly save this menu for "advanced mode" down the line - swap at any time in settings/onboarding

@VedantaSomnath2 of course! - you can turn them all off account-wide (and they don’t show for logged out users anyway).

(oh hello, openrouter!!) right now looking at 2.0 flash (combined with our internal decision finetune model) - 1.5 flash was battle tested for a while and it was pretty good 2.0 flash lite is a bit too small, the results don’t feel 100% great (e.g. it often messes up the formatting), hence opting for flash on its own plus i can offer a decent context window and images too for free that way

search is a mix of things, and a challenging task too right now i’ll say it’s a mix of google and bing. but id like to move away from that once i can make some revenue - ill move towards tavily, brave, or even my own partial index. some of the other searches focuses work through Exa, various APIs (github, reddit, YouTube, so on) scraping and processing is all in house (golang) rest of the app’s main stack is nextjs shadcn tailwind, fully on cloudflare pages with d1 sqlite, r2 for assets and vectorise etc! happy to share more details 😊
