@ZombieHedgehog_ @LupoLucius99 @josefprusa Depends on what you mean. Most, and more important firmware is fully open source. It's just not instant, as they develop the features internally and test them to be stable before releasing it. On the hardware side, things are open sourced but not immediately after product launch.

@VAT_Engineering @MattStultz @3D_Musketeers @mwuethri @Prusa3D @elianarose66 @CocoaPress Nope. CAN is only good for sensors, but not for the rest like extruder/loveboard. So far Modbus/serial is used. But CAN is planned for sensors afaik.
