It's just not instant, as they develop the features internally and test them to be stable before releasing it. On the hardware side, things are open sourced but not immediately after product launch.

@HeinoK1 @TheZuza mk4 to mk4s as well. You will need the nextruder mods as well. A direct upgrade from mk4 to core one won't work afaik. But yeah, if you enjoy building, that's the way.
