In case my last few Twitter threads didn't make it clear: the comics lounge doesn't care if women feel safe in their venue. They say they're fighting censorship but deleted their tweets calling me a terrible human being & troll for speaking up against them. But it's not just me👀
I don't feel safe at The Comics Lounge. Lots of women don't feel safe there. If you think Melbourne needs a laugh more than women feeling safe at their workplace then donate away. Personally I don't think the comedy world would suffer if they didn't survive.
