According to Killian's messages, HypeDrop's FAQ and HypeDrop's internal legal letters to regulators, HypeDrop is supposed to pay back tiles to users until their losses are repaid
Under this assumption, users gambled away millions.
And they just pulled the plug. So horrible.
HypeDrop is a ponzi scheme.
They claim to "return" your "investment" over time in the form of daily rewards. But if the site stops growing, HypeDrop still has to pay daily rewards forever, with not enough revenue to back it up.
Based on this model, collapse is inevitable.

Majority of today's ban wave were people that traded on CSGORoll in the last 48 hours. MontanaBlack was a promoter of CSGORoll and withdrew items from there, although not as recently (evidence below). Valve is taking a strong stand against an illegal casino.

In order to pay for devs, hosting, and support, these sites need to charge very high (borderline predatory) fees
