No one feels this "lessening" inflation because purchasing power is at decade lows. Wage growth compared to asset prices are minimal. Homes, cars, groceries are still killing the American people.

Prices have gone straight up. Looking at charts dating back to the 70s, we all know what follows. BUT everyone claims this time is different. I think it is different, I think with our sky high debt, roaring inflation and weakening consumer. I believe it will be worse.

A lot of this will come down to Powells tone. The market is pricing in 5 rate CUTS in 2024. I think that is a bit optimistic, Powell will most likely tame the markets.
