I think this is the earliest we’ve harvested soybeans at home. Getting these @DEKALB_Canada 11-84s off and then it’s time to get wheat in the ground.

@johannaburrows Spring meals ideas from @lesleyraekelly I’m also a big fan of making a giant batch of chicken/turkey soup and freezing in single-serving deli containers.

@islandviewag At least these aren't Gr 5 resistant. I need to loop back after we tried to spray them, but it sounds like there was activity from the Gr 27 post-emerge we applied.

@JVDFarms @OntarioSoilCrop @tiredwheelguy @Spray_Guy @TVRSCIA As @Spray_Guy stated in his presentation, still a lot of unanswered questions when it comes to spraying with a drone. I’ve seen some trials, but need more data and regulatory approval. Would rather we be cautious than wind up with a disaster and potentially lose the technology.

@VandorpJohn A rescue treatment has been applied, it will take time to see how well it takes them down. High pressure and big weeds, I’m sure there will unfortunately be escapes.

@jason_buttar Agreed. Using the cheapest herbicides or bare minimum of a herbicide program isn’t doing any favours. This is why we preach multiple modes of action and pre-emerge programs, but we can’t make them spray what they don’t want to.

@farmerschneck @TVRSCIA I completely agree. First time it’s been reported in Oxford. Obviously been here a year or two when it’s that high a population.
