Recently I've been asked about my private mechanics coaching: in the past 6 months, I've coached people from all skill level (from beginners to ow contender players, semi-pro in apex, pro FN players like @psalm who just finished 2nd at #FortniteWorldCup , to elite rank in QC).

Fortnite players: - build and edit at the speed of light - huge grinders - now have better aim than most thanks to kovaak + aim duel - try valorant, go pro - try aimgods, win $250k tourney Non FN players: - lose to FN players - still claim that FN takes no skill bit weird or?

If you are much better in kovaak than in "real games" (like fortnite, overwatch, and so on), you're a complete failure as an fps player, and should stop expressing your irrelevant opinions about aiming skills (or skill itself really) in shooters

Recently, cheating controversies have arised in every FPS with cross-play (mixing controllers/mkb) because of controller converters boosting aim assist (like the zen) I'd like to remind everyone that aim-assist, alone, is already cheating, with or without zen

After discussing with many high ranked ow2 players, they suspect that something fishy is happening with the matchmaking: the freq. and length of win/lose streaks is absurdly high Is Blizzard willingfully forcing big win/losestreak to maximize engagement by rigging their own mm?

Are game dev actually trying to kill their games now? In OW, PvE was hyped and is now full dead In FN, arena is replaced by ranked, which is exactly like pub games (lootpool, no siphon) In APEX, you're forced to be controller to enjoy it As for val, it's an edating simulator

Funny list of what controllers have over mkb: - god movement (better than double movement, 1 finger vs 4) - aimbot - edit assist - different build and edit sens - much bigger prizepool per player - better recoil What is the next step to boost them, more hp and more damage maybe?

2023 is the year esports died. Valorant franchised its pro-scene, same for ow + it's dead, apex comp is dead, fortnite comp has money but patches are horrible, roblox has no esports, cod is irrelevant and for no skill controller players 2023 is definitely the year esports died

If you perform poorly, you're not going to fix it by changing mouse, pad, sens, or fov. The dominant contribution to your performance is your skill level and nothing else. These externalizations to justify your bad performance are just EXCUSES. You just lack skill, so go train

The bad aimer cycle: miss shots -> lower sens to hit more -> miss even more shots -> lower sens again The good aimer cycle: hit shots -> increase sens to wkey -> hits more shots -> increase sensitivity again Conclusion: if you lower your sens "because of your aim", you're bad

With the reduced recoil on scar/AR/burst, and the relatively long distance flat map + mobility (crash pad, jumppads, shockwave GL, pepper...), this season is going to reward people with strong ads aim. It's time for every mkb player to get back into kovaak asap

Age matters a lot for mechanics (like aim or building and editing skills). For aim, it seems that you can still compete up to 25 (it's all downhill from here), but for fortnite, do you guys know a top creative warrior with CraCkEd BuIlD and EdiT SpEEd who is 25+? What about 20+?

The purpose of aim training is not to make you obsessed over your aim in real game, by scrutinizing every single of your shots It is actually the entire opposite. It is to make you good enough in aim so you can forget about it and focus on playing the game properly

Sleep is extremely important for improving (mechanics, aim). Everyone should get at least 7 hours and 30 minutes of sleep every day. Ideally, you should even get 8. On top of that, you can even take nap(s) (15-30min) in the day. If you lack discipline to go to bed, put an alarm

Not so impressive for good players, but I'm an old retired aim coach, so I'm quite happy considering I exclusively played soldier (an off-meta pick) This shows that it is definitely possible to do good in ow2 with good mechanics, especially if you're young and motivated

When will epic remove snipers from competitive? It ruins the game and requires 0 skill, especially when CONTROLLERS have AIM ASSIST on it, knowing that most shots you take with snipers are on people moving in a straight line at 100m+? Love having 4 hunting rifles early game too

Apparently aim assist in fortnite is not OP at all, according to most controller players like @ghostissa7 , @aydan , @ATL_LeTsHe and others. You guys wouldn't mind then if we gave aim assist to everyone, even mouse players? Would only make it fair, right? : )

It is funny to me how people who grinded aim trainers for months, which speeded up their improvement a LOT, are then claiming that they are useless. Aim trainers are not a complete way to train aim? No shit, so what? Want me to list people who developped sick aim thanks to them?

I don't care what pros say about solo, it's just the best mode to promote Fortnite: it has rng? lag? people colluding to secure poi? Yes, so do other modes. It's still, and by far, the best mode to spectate, the least gatekept one, with old and new starplayers+it has sick stories

it's generally harder to move to the right than to the left because of wrist flexibility. Similarly, it's harder to aim downward than upward (less forearm on table + mousedrift) Why can't we customize our sensitivity to be higher on right and downward movements? 200IQ or 0IQ?

Top pros are NEVER the best at the individual skills involved in their game. You don't need to be the best in aim, in boxfight, in edits, or in any individual isolated skill at all. So many people are driven very badly by their ego and neglect real game. Stop wasting your time

A total beginner can instantly beat the best chess player in the world by downloading a chess engine Give an aimbot to a dia player and he'll achieve 0 against a random pro Conclusion? Competitive video games are absolutely superior to chess, go, or any other board games

If the olympics committee was smart, they would try to add some esports competition too. Surely, it would be more interesting to watch than water polo, sailing, and other sports no one cares about? Aim duel competition for Paris 2024 maybe?

Funny how in OW you get canceled from competing for doing👌or using a pepe emote, in CS:GO for having friends (not you) using the n-word, and in valorant for calling a caster "unprofessional". Isn't it amazing how even on that matter, Fortnite is the superior competitive scene?

Tracking requires infinitely more skill than clicking, but the latter has a much bigger impact: - it allows for burst damage/instant kill, even with luck - it's easier to have high accuracy with against good dodgers - it hits a lot of damage on players with good peek/unpeek skill

I love how aiming at super close range is extremely hard on mkb, but somehow controllers hit all hs there + have insanely broken movement that makes them even harder to hit than mkb. Oh ye, they also all spam shot without seeing anything and hit you for 100 too, surely balanced

The only serious problem produced by global warming is that it makes aiming impossible when it's too hot
