@GeorgeWeahOff
Seems like it should be Timo’s choice of who to play for. Not George’s. Good for George for being a supportive father here. Not enough of them in this world
@tombogert
I’m increasingly less inclined to re up my MLS pass on apple. Why would I? The league growing is fun even when it’s still at a mediocre level, but if there’s no ambition or eagerness to improve then why should I stick around?
@ManagerTactical
Chelsea’s in trouble with those long contracts. Leaves the team pretty inflexible and that’s horrible for a club known for changing managers often. And I love it!
@TIvesMoody7
@TheSpursExpress
@SportsPeteO
Was wildly misused at Leeds. Only played one match for the manager he was coming over there for. Look at his last season at Juve not his half season on loan at a failing Leeds
@ProspectsUsmnt
To me Copa is second only to the World Cup and only a small step down. Probably the 3rd best international tournament in the world. I’d trade away gold cups and nations leagues to play Copa every cycle in a heartbeat. Easy decision
@MLS_Buzz
This is nitpicking and im all for the Fifa calendar but I say play until Christmas/Boxing Day. And don’t start until late February. Jan and Feb are the coldest months. Plus I love the idea of Christmas season MLS. Where is your team by Christmas? Etc…
@MLS_Buzz
Idk, starting to read the tea leaves here. His club didn’t want him. Doesn’t get called in to national team despite being the most talented CB. Can’t find a club. Maybe there’s just more to this than we are privy to.
@USMNTTAKES
Not talking talent level but as far as best players in this very moment, he’s up there with Pulisic, Gio, Wes and the other top brass. He’s a top half starter premier league left back who is rarely injured with is an underrated ability
@kickswish
My response would be wholly unpopular but I would ban all current MLS players from the senior team. USMNT has historically been huge for marketing MLS players to the country and helped clubs sell to bigger leagues.
@MLS_Buzz
Bought my ticket in Orlando at midfield for $42 last night when the story started getting traction. Now tickets in the section are $500. Kicking myself for not buying 4 and selling 2!
@morten_bering
“Regardless of how well they do their job, they need to be just as miserable as I am! I don’t understand people who are happy so I don’t like it”
@ManagerTactical
@Jadentheman1
I didn’t love the Forrest move but I didn’t hate it as much as everyone else seemed too at the time. I was dead wrong! This move was atrocious and he needs better career advice.

And I’m not here to defend them. I’m just pushing back against the outrage I’ve seen as if we just left Landon Donavan off the 2014 WC roster again. I’d be totally fine if he was our 5th CB, I’m also fine that he’s not.
@StanUsmnt
Last line pissed me off more. How out of touch with reality do you have to be to not think we (the fans) cared about the Copa America? He really believed it a ‘stepping stone’ tournament. Closer to a World Cup to me than the Gold Cup
@zaqrider
@FabrizioRomano
I don’t think we won’t to develop anyone. That’s for the clubs. We want someone who will be flexible and deft with tactics and demand a lot from their players
@AlexiLalas
I’d actually love to see the USMNT play big games at college stadiums. Free tickets to students and huge embrace of American tailgating culture
@RaeComm
Oh he’s the best American coach ever in my opinion. He’s doing too well for the USMNT. Above our level. Maybe one day in the future but in the mean time he can continue trailblazing for other American coaches!
@Pepi_Stan9
Holy shit, right? Imagine if we lost how we’d be looking at that. His whole schtik is that he’s supposed to be the hardest working player on the field
@TaylorTwellman
I don’t think she was being serious. I think she made her ratings so bad that it would get attention and people talking about her article
@ProspectsUsmnt
I think you might be the only US soccer fan that thinks the Copa America was some backwater tournament that it’s ok to take casually. We should t have put Adams career in jeopardy, you’re dead wrong calling it “not important for the USMNT”
@DHC1_1991
@MB59634213
@EinSchwarzwelt
At Jurgen Klinnsman’s time? C’mon now. Our pool was straight ass back then. The whole fan base was up in arms that LA galaxy player Landon Donavan didn’t make the squad. Also you just can’t get me to care that our 5th CB is MLS when his competitor just put in a W.O.A.T. seaon
@ABFlorida21
@TaylorTwellman
That’s because all America knows is promotion like how the 13 colonies got promoted to an independent country after whipping that ass!
@Jack_T_92
@mhardysport
@DanielSmith1022
I’ve listened to enough of the square ball to know Leeds fans have no idea how bad that guy is. He’s not good enough for the championship.
@ConcacafEdgar
Who is saying it impossible? I’d say odds are stacked against us for Brazil. Upsets happen. As for Colombia I think we should advance but wouldn’t be overconfident. Hope we get to be a part of this tournament every cycle!
@MLSMoves
@AverageBotter
It would be a damn shame if those useless sacks like San Jose who don’t take chances or put forth adamant effort get to profit from Atlanta
@USMNT_Thoughts
Undoubtedly in 2 years I’m wayyyy less exited about him than right now. At that point it fees like just another Steven Gerrard or Schweinstiger* level signing.
