FMC is saddened to learn of the passing of Former Member Buddy MacKay (D-FL, 1983-1989). A devoted public servant, MacKay served the state of Florida in many capacities, including Governor and Lt. Gov. Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this time.

FMC joins the US in mourning the passing of Jimmy Carter, our 39th President. He was an inspirational public servant & continued to strive to improve people's lives long after leaving the White House, winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his efforts. We honor & remember him.

FMC mourns the passing of Former Congressman Jim Leach (R-IA, 1977-2007). Devoted to public service, he held his office for 30 years & was widely known as someone who did what he thought was best for the U.S., regardless of party or politics. Our hearts go out to his loved ones.
