🇳🇱🇮🇷 @NLinGeneva recommends Iran immediately release all persons detained for peacefully exercising their rights to FoE, association & assembly, including those advocating for the abolition of discrimination against women, girls & all those further arbitrarily detained #UPR48

🇳🇵🇮🇷 Nepal took positive note of Iran's several initiatives to ensure right to political participation, peaceful assembly and association in their opening remarks #UPR48

🇱🇮🇮🇷 Liechtenstein recommends Iran release individuals that were prosecuted and punished for exercising their rights, in particular, the right to freedom of peaceful assembly @LiechtensteinUN #UPR48

🇯🇵🇮🇷 Japan recommends Iran strengthen action to promote and protect freedom of expression @JapanMissionGE #UPR48

🇮🇹🇮🇷 Italy recommends Iran guarantee freedom of opinion, expression and assembly and cease arresting human rights defenders peacefully exercising these rights @ItalyUN_Geneva #UPR48

🇬🇷🇮🇷 Greece recommends Iran ensure that all human rights defenders and their families are not threatened with or subjected to intimidation, harassment, arbitrary arrests, deprivation of liberty or life or other arbitrary sanctions @GreeceInGeneva #UPR48

🇫🇮🇮🇷 @FinlandGeneva recommends Iran implement its intl. obligations to ensure the rights to FoE & opinion, assembly & association in compliance with intl. human rights law and to ensure that all investigations for prosecutions and trials meet international standards #UPR48
