On that note, I just setup my very first @foldingathome project! We are doing more ApoE4 simulations to try to see more unique structures of the protein in the simulations. Very grateful to the community that enables this work!
3.45 milliseconds of simulation of ApoE4, the strongest genetic risk factor for #Alzheimers disease is a BIG deal. It would take over 450 years on a high end GPU, or 23 years on our cluster. Running these sims on @AWS would have cost over $775K USD!
