Before my grandfather died I asked him for his waffle recipe. When I was growing up he made waffles all the time (and would take color requests: green,blue, pink, etc.). This morning I’m making my grandfather’s buttermilk waffles. Those peaches are also from a tree he planted.

Almost a million additional people with federal student debt have had such egregious errors on their bills that the Dept of Education had to pause borrowers’ interest and not require them to make payments.
Aidvantage, EdFinancial and Nelnet (+ MOHELA) have all made huge errors.

My friend's little boy has been in and out of he CICU at a large children's hospital and recently had to move to isolation because he caught COVID while in the hospital.
Masking should be mandatory in healthcare settings.
I just spoke to a mum who’s critically ill child has been infected with Covid for the first time at Westmead Children’s Hospital in ICU. Where she says they didn’t wear even surgical masks.

My in-laws told me about the flu, pneumonia, and shingles vaccines they got this year. They won’t do the COVID vaccines because of what they’ve been told by Fox. So frustrating.
I will never understand the animosity over COVID booster shots and vaccines in general. Vaccines may have alleviated more human suffering than any other invention. So to all those denigrating science and medicine please get a life. And I mean that literally.

I was really angry after we caught COVID. 4 years of trying to keep my family safe felt like it was for nothing. Those feelings lasted a few weeks. I still mask. I still limit who we're around. I know we need to avoid it as much as possible. It's lonely and hard.

Wedding dress reveal. My friends chose my dress and I didn’t see it until the day I got married.
In just under two weeks I'm getting married. It'll also be the first time that I see my wedding dress. I have no idea what it looks like. I tried it on blind folded and two of my friends picked it out. I can't wait!

The N U R S E in the ER last night told me "oh you have one of those fancy masks." No, friend. It's a KN95 because my N95 broke in the car. Then, the nurse said "It's smart to wear that here. There's a lot of germs." I know. Why aren't you wearing one, again?
I just can’t believe we got SO CLOSE to masks in healthcare being normalized and then even the medical community said ehhhh fuck it. Just straight up losers, I’m sorry. We could’ve had something so good.
