Siphamandla Boyce, who made headline news in 2021 for showing resilience when he graduated with a UFH Bcom Law Degree despite major health setbacks caused by a rare disease, returned to the graduation stage this season to collect LLB Degree.
Prof Zintombizethu Zethu Matebeni is the country’s first recipient of the SARChI Chair in Sexualities, Genders and Queer Studies.She is the second UFH academic to be awarded a SARChI Chairship by National Research Foundation.

Dr Patrick Maduna the father of seven and grandfather of nine with a tenth one on the way, was conferred a Doctor of Nursing. For his doctoral study, Dr Maduna investigated the implementation of clinic governance by the Mpumalanga Department of Health.
