They did good job with cel-shading for it's time,featuring outline, dynamic shadow, realtime projections, and even fake reflection. It also captured the manga style. But there were still other games at the time that outshone it.

Yes,I typically start by sculpting the basic forms symmetrically in a T-pose with low res,then pose it,turn off symmetry to add asymmetrical details in a higher res.Thank you for asking!
