It was such a huge pleasure to take this project on!
Even when I was doing this reaction every day it still made me excited to draw it at the top of my notebook pages.
Replace an aromatic carbon with nitrogen, leave the rest of the skeleton the same. A huge first step towards the problem I started my lab to tackle, thanks to

This is beautiful magnetism work and one of the most interesting bismuth complexes I've ever seen. Having to move to UV-vis to actually measure D is something I never imagined would happen. Truly incredible stuff. Congratulations to all!

We use those occasionally. I've even stuck two lamps in each side, but you'll want to mount a little PC fan or something on there. Your reaction will get pretty warm without it but it shouldn't be a fire hazard.

I learned in grad school that 4:3 was the standard and that it fit on all projectors, but it seems that the standard might have shifted. In that case, is there any reason to continue making new presentations in 4:3?
So, my powerpoint slides are still 4:3 ratio. Being required to convert to 16:9 for an online presentation platform is the kind of thing that wastes my time and makes me very grumpy. Honestly, I am donating my time and don’t need to be mandated to spend more time for their profit

This is still alarming. NSF should not be telling new graduate students what fields are and aren't worthwhile. How hard is it to just leave specific solicitations out of the
#GRFP
? Isn't the mission of NSF to further *all* basic science?
