@danrothenberg @THE_Eric_Allen @RyanMaue Our goal was to compare the performance with different training sets within the world of ERA5. We included some discussions about ERA5 shortcomings. In any case, it would be great if others tried this with their models too!

@raspstephan Thanks. Would be great if this is tried with other models too; not chap! But, FCN1 does well for 5day forecast of Cat5 TCs aside from underpredicting intensity that is common. Goal was to compare the performance with different training sets and the skills are found very different
