What no-till into cover crop looked like in 2023. Soybean sat in dry soil planted 3” deep for two months. Pic taken close to Independence Day
Through it all, I was reminded that our political process is only as strong as the participation from the people. I am grateful for the chance to have developed new connections, shared my story, and policy priorities while soaking in the rich history of our nation’s capital.
In addition, I engaged in critical ag policy conversations with our elected officials, both rural and urban. Policy decisions directly impact not only our farms, but also our nation’s food and energy supply.
