A few years ago, I applied for a stay to the Court of Appeal and the ECtHR (simultaneously) for a young Afghani boy. The CoA refused at 4.15 pm; the ECtHR granted the Rule 39 injunction at 4.45pm. History repeats itself, with better insight!
