@thamoonman_ They are more than capable of working out 'preference alliance' but the success of this, or otherwise, is far more relevant than increasing your party's vote. You can get 0.5% vote and win a seat under current system.

@nsummons @KosSamaras The irony of someone who thinks they can conduct a conversational IQ test, based on a greens death tax policy that doesn't exist. As far as I know the greens have the only 2 md and phd in the parliament... If academic achievement is your prerequisite they win.

@kazza264 @kevinbonham Actually needs a referendum for change to numbers or regions but that's not the issue. Could change the system in a month with a simple majority but labor thinks lack of democracy helps them.

@kevinbonham Scrutineered Prahran postals. 3292 to 1764 2cp liberal. With v low turnout this is the difference.
