@mehibilet Feynman was what Musk should be when it comes to the most significant geopolitical event of our lives: in my opinion. The "pagers" in the towers went off in sequence. Even Trump knew that in the immediate aftermath of the event, before he got told to deny physics by "scientists".

Much as I think Trump is corrupted, I think many of us are enjoying how he's exposing *some* of the corruption in the US system. But let's be clear: the crazy amount of money (ab)used by USAID isn't mostly from US taxpayers. It's largely magicked up by an insanely corrupt system.

@KitKlarenberg Maybe, to what end? I find the perspective of Fabio Vighi interesting on lockdowns/Covid. Not to be too bathetic or stereotype national character but a detail I enjoyed was how the French apparently discovered that nicotine was effective against Covid. 🤣

It's propaganda all right but "left wing"? I don't think so. The BBC propagandises on behalf of the establishment, which uses the "left" and "right" of politics to maintain its position. Calling the BBC "left wing" buys into that divide-and-rule game; Arron knows what he's doing.

When it comes to corruption, everyone knows we're being lied to by "authority": it's just a matter of how big a lie you think we're being asked to believe. Another way of saying it is that everyone knows our "trust" is being abused: it's just how much abuse you think we can take.

Suddenly well thought-through pandemic preparedness plans were thrown out on the basis of dubious scientific modelling that no-one was allowed to criticise. That's not science; neither is quarantining the healthy.

Ever since George W Bush came out with "either you are with us or you are with the terrorists" in 2002 it has been clear that so-called leaders offering such childish, black-and-white "cowboys and injuns" type analysis of modern geopolitical issues are a big part of the problem.
