So…today I needed to access healthcare and remove my mask. I was in a room with no ventilation and an unmasked HCW. Viruses are sky high now. Why isn’t healthcare a safer place for staff and patients? It seems so wrong. It *is* wrong. #ChangeIPCPolicyNow

When is the tipping point? At what point do science and health get a look in? How come it is still ok in overwhelmed healthcare settings for such a laissez-faire attitude towards infection control? When did we start conflating colds with covid, flu, whooping cough, RSV etc?

Everything feels so broken and stretched beyond capacity. Myself included. People are sick, wrung out, have to go through a quagmire maze to access support. So many getting further trodden underfoot on the way, whilst the tiny minority at the top want more and more.

@thementalelves @LoveGrowingVeg This is such a good point. I also see people in favour of assisted dying talking about safeguards. I then look at what some in the media and politicians repeatedly imply and see “COERCION” in big bold letters. A smiling team saying ‘safeguards’ as they push you off a cliff.
