So as expressed in the opening paragraphs (and evidenced in the paper) our answer to the question... "Is Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count reliable, efficient, and effective for the analysis of large online datasets in forensic and security contexts?" ...is a resounding "No!"

So proud of my colleagues for this important work. It was led by @NixxiJ & @lovermob included colleagues beyond AIFL in the broader dept of Communication and Culture. This was one of Márton Petykó's last research projects before he died in November 2023.
