They are Baloch students illegally detained in margalla police station of Islamabad. They r studying in different educational institutions of Islamabad. They went to welcome their sisters & mothers coming from Balochistan Wednesday night. They were arrested.They are not criminals
We were travelling today from Turbat to Quetta & one of our fellow passenger namely Shabayg Dad s/o Wali Dad from Shapuk was forcibly abducted right in front of us in Panjgur’s check-post with no arrest warrant. Isn’t this harassment? What law & constitution allows this?
I was showing
@KarimaBaloch
‘s pictures to a friend and now I’m myself in awe of how can someone be SO pricelessly beautiful? Let alone her bravery & courage that paved path for resistance in Balochistan!❤️
We will be sitting and protesting here until & unless Shabayg is released!!! If he is guilty, bring him in front of the courts. This is highly inhuman and extreme way of torturing Balochs in their very homeland.
Little update :
We protested for nearly 8 to 9 hours in front of the checkpoint of Panjgur for either releasing Shahbayg or to provide us with an arrest warrant if he‘s guilty AND to hand over Shahbayg to the police for investigation not the FC.

A girl in my uni LITERALLY asked me if I’m from BALOCH and when I corrected her with BALOCHISTAN
She went : Haan wohi wohi
Pakis can’t even differentiate between Baloch & Balochistan, no wonder why they don’t know what’s happening in Balochistan.
He was abducted at 9:30 am & we’ve been waiting & protesting for him for more than 3 hours now. If he is guilty, the courts should do their jobs, he should arrested with a warrant through law & legislation. You can‘t just pick up Balochs like that in broad daylight!!!!

1/n) For the love of Baloch women, their incredible work of art & to my resilience to find my way to my own identity in a world that’s full of different cultures.
This has been a four month long journey of working extremely hard on a Podcast that I call today - Zindab!
Was forcible disappearance & humiliation of
#BalochStudents
not enough in Punjab & Islamabad that the so-called security forces & FC corps have now started humiliation of
#BalochStudents
even in Balochistan?
On this
#InternationalDayofWomen
Let’s inspire women and girls around the world to believe in the power of their dreams, their stories and their voices!
Happy International women's day to all the amazing ladies out there!!!
When we say Balochistan is missing; what we mean is our youth, our students, our loved ones, our voices, our identities and our lives are missing - we have to continuously remind the world that we, Baloch matter, that

I asked the artist, Qazi Lal Baksh (the man in the picture) if these crafts are really handmade & he showed me all the wools & threads he uses to make them.
Qazi is a local artist from Koshkalat, Turbat & he’s been making these for years now without much deserving recognition.
I am not sure what law and legislation people talk about in Pakistan? If there's law or any court in this country, why can’t those laws be used for Baloch? Who are FC & security forces to have control over that? This is clear harassment. This is shameful! Let Baloch live.
Take it personal.
If the people around u talk about the brutalities around the world but turn a blind eye towards the reality of Balochistan. This is personal. This shows their indifference towards our existence. This shows how easy it is to go blind when a Baloch goes missing!
We are taught to respect fear more than ourselves. We are taught to be terrified. To remain voiceless. We've been taught that silence would save us, but it won’t. The brutal abduction of
#MahalBaloch
should haunt each one of us, as much as it is haunting her children.
I remember
#HafeezBaloch
asking me question/s about feminism in my first study circle in
#QAU
. The fact that our educated and talented youths are usually the one more prone to the heinous enforced disappearances is so horrifying to witness at this point!
#ReleaseHafeezBaloch
Not that any enforced disappearance is less traumatizing than other,but when people who you’ve seen & are a part of your memory go missing. It haunts you more.
#DodaElahi
was my senior in school. As far back as I can recall,he was talented. He’d do poetry & drama in school events
Family & friends of Doda Ellahi and Gamshad Baloch are still at Karachi Press Club for the 2nd day now. No response from govt. As usual, complete apathy towards the plight of Baloch families. Targeting of Baloch students must end.

After protesting for hours in the scorching heat, Shahbayg’s family finally arrived to the location of the protest & went with him in the police station for the investigation.
So grateful 2 all the public 4 being a firm voice for Shahbayg & especially to my Sangat
@BaluchRukhsar
Experiences like these are terrifying! Imagine seeing one of your fellow passenger being dragged & harassed right in front of you? The trauma & fear is going to stick with each one of us, forever.
This is the worst nightmare as a Baloch!

I remember asking a friend once that why doesn’t he visit his home even on Eid holidays, he said sth between the lines of : ‘Traveling is scary if you’re a Baloch Student. Your destiny may end up to be a dungeon.’ Its not only him, but the constant fear of every Baloch student.

From the streets of Turbat to the Press Club of Islamabad, Balochs continue to revive the spirit of resistance in the face of every oppression, disappear & state brutality. Life for us is resistance and that only!

one doesn’t necessarily need to wear a Balochi Attire & post it all over, but rather feel the pain of
#Balochs
they’ve been wearing on 4 years in their hearts in the face of adversity, to be their voice when they’re oppressed & tortured mercilessly.
Proud of your guts & courage
@BaluchRukhsar
!💕 So thankful to all the students,residents of Panjgur for being a strong voice for Shahbayg. More power to all the Baloch✊
And we still demand for shahbayg’s release & ask for an end to these miseries

They’re my host family. The last time I was here in the US, they hosted me as their exchange daughter.💕and I gifted these dresses to them back then.
For me, Arif Baloch is not only a singer, but a storyteller as well.
Whenever I listen to him, I find him sharing tales & stories through his music.
He carries magic in his words.
What a gem!
In Quetta, you'll experience every form of harassment from catcalling to stalking to a random man passing inappropriate comments to you and weird part is that people find it OKAY to be harassed & would prefer silence over speaking out and would literally say “that's how it is
One of the biggest tragedies of our country is that no matter in what ways Baloch speak against the atrocities they face, their voices still go unheard & the demands are deliberately neglected.

I don’t know but just seeing Baloch artists like
@kaifi_khalil
reach heights of success with their hard work, makes my heart swell with pride & joy! So deserve it.
Everytime a Pakistani tries to politically correct us wid the usage of “genocide”, im enraged by how hypocrite, indifferent & ignorant theyre towards Balochistan.
When u deliberately to try cleanse our people, deprive us of our homeland & resources, mass murder us. It’s genocide.
#IStandWithBalochMarch

The Islamabad Police is abducting Baloch youth in Islamabad. Several Baloch individuals have been targeted based on their Balochi attire throughout the city.
@UN
, intervention is needed to address this issue.
#MarchAgainstBalochGenocide
Treating Balochs like the second class citizens, abducting, torturing & killing them mercilessly and then having the audacity to call them terrorists,traitors & meaninglessly aggressive is what this country has been doing for decades. How shameless, how brutual!
#ChaghiBleeds
When PTI protesters raise slogans against the army they have all rights to? But when poor baluch come out to protest against the violence they’re facing they’re showered with even more bullets! Yet we are to believe we have equal rights in pakistan?
A sangat in today’s protest said very well that Baloch people no longer want the rich resources of their homeland, but demand for the basic rights of living and learning. The basic right to speak against the oppression & discrimination they face.
Some of us are forgetting that
#enforceddisappearances
, abduction of Baloch youths & torturing the students were a thing long before the sucide attack that happened yesterday. Abduction of
#BeebargImdad
is NOT a consequence of it. It’s been happening long before.
The Baloch student disappeared today around 7:45am from Punjab University hostel has been identified as Beebarg Imdad. He was studying English literature at NUML university.

So grateful my Amma taught me how to live bravely. She knew the world would be hard on a woman & for a Baloch woman, I'll have no option, but to be brave. I’m grateful she taught me that at a very tender age.

My host dad made me a painting 2 months ago so I could decorate it in my hostel’s room (which I still haven’t figured out yet) so, im leaving it here to honor his incredible artistic skills & of the sudden joy I felt right now altho I’ve seen this painting so many times already.
There are only few people in the world who earn to be called heroes & Sufyan Kalmati is one of them. He is the founder of Education house, a nonprofit org where he provides free education to the underprivileged kids of his community!His work is so inspiring!
How are the institutions going to justify this ruthless act? It’s a continuation of the same pattern of abuse & terror that Baloch students undergo every single day in different parts of the country.

Not only they are surpassing the limits of humanity but also showing their inner reality towards Balochs by abusing Fareed Baloch.The clip is a perfect emblem that how much hatred is penetrated in their minds for us. Just imagine how they would be treating Fareed in closed doors
Baloch women are truly made of steel; the unwavering determination even in the face of darkest times is so inspiring!❤️

The struggle of Baloch women for the safe release of their loved ones is a feminist issue. Enforced disappearances is a feminist issue. We cannot pick & choose activism. As long as Baloch women aren’t free from state brutality & oppression, no women is free!
Aurat March Islamabad stands in solidarity with their Baloch sisters and supports their demands of safe recovery of their loved ones.
We also urge the mainstream media to highlight these legimate demands and cover the Baloch long march.
