It’s so sad when abroad people make this nonsense comparison.
Fuel is needed for every day to day activities in Nigeria. In the EU, you don’t even do have to buy fuel at all if you like. Public transportation is readily available, comfortable and cheap.
I buy fuel at 2.36 euros per litre now. It used to be 1.23, even less last year.
Inflation is a global problem and price of fuel/gas/diesel has increased worldwide.
Why do you people pretend Nigeria is located on another planet?
Just because the govt intended to ease our cost burden from the rising price of energy in Germany. Other measures too have been put in place. Pls when Nigerians are complaining, be kind and if you are abroad and having nothing kind to say, just move on!
The same with Nigeria’s situation. Prices keeps increasing unreasonably in Nigeria without wages increasing, subsidy or accountability by the government. In Germany for example, monthly public transport fares was reduced to 9€ per month for three months
In the NL where you are, you can even reach almost everywhere with your bicycle. Agreed that general prices of everything has increased, i get scared when I need to do groceries shopping because the prices doubled over the last six months but it’s not just…
Leaving is hard for everyone involved. Having friends scattered across the world , missing out on their weddings, not meeting their kids, and missing other important milestones.
One of my goals for 2022 was to turn my photography hobby into a business, I did my first paid shoot in June and I can’t believe how much i have grown since then. If you're in Berlin/ area, I'm the photographer for you! Launched my website today😁.
Excited about finally getting my clothing line together. This is something I've always wanted to do since I moved here. This is going to be my side-hustle but who knows, It might just change to the main later in the future. I can't even lie, I'm scared of my big ideas too😂.
I remember when i used to carry my work on my head. “There is public holiday tomorrow, who is available to work?". Sharply, I don raise hand.
I learnt very fast and hard that these companies don’t rate you, you are not indispensable, you are not special and you are not family!
Someone in my photography community wrote about how difficult it is to be wedding photographer when you are going through difficulties in your own marriage and this comment caught my attention 😳
Till now, I skip frog jump when I'm exercising. That thing brings bad memories. I remember frog-jumping inside the gutter, round the quadrangle. Such a horrible punishment.
Went back home for my dad’s final rites. Returned to Germany & already started calling him to tell him I’m back before the realisation hit me again. It was my biggest fear. I hoped they would never have to call me to give me this kind of news. But it happened, my daddy is gone.
While the U.S wants to pursue their international students back to their countries, Germany is providing international students with interest-free loans to cope during this crisis.
Whenever I tell people I'm in Eruwa, they are like "that place", what are you doing there? Bla, bla.. Yes, that place! Where my parents are, and where I can I have my peace of mind in Nigeria. I love it here.
Paris is so overrated😂. After Eiffel Tower and Louvre , that’s all. Stroll around and take fine pictures. Two days max, you are done.
But you see South of France, that’s the place to go to France. The experience is different, it’s really beautiful there.
Photography has truly been my refuge in the past year . It's been the anchor that carried me through challenges, it fueled my spirit. The only thing i'm actually happy spending my money and time on to get better at. It gave me a sense of purpose.
Read a tweet this morning suggesting that asking a Nigerian elder "how are you" is rude. There's much to unlearn and relearn ahead of us. This mentality must not be passed to the next generation.
I read a book called “Outliers” and there was a section that talked about the constant Korean airline crashes in the 90s. Their planes were not crashing because the pilots were unqualified, or because the planes were not properly maintained. These planes were crashing because in
I do a headcount of black people when I visit a new country. I did not see a single black person in Montenegro in the first two days. When I eventually saw a black person, the joy!! I was so happy😀
I once spent a 2 weeks in Croatia.
Didn’t see one black person. Till the day before I left. I was walking in the streets and suddenly brother came around the corner. When he saw me, he dropped to his knees and shouted MY NIGGA 😭😩😅 we hugged for so long 😂
Three different onboarding at my new job today and two of the trainers were Nigerians. And they are so brilliant. Things I love to see in this country 🥹🥹
The breaded life movie is so nice..really enjoyed it. Casting was perfect, story was great, the plot was nice. Any other Biodun Stephen's movie on Netflix pls?
@bussiie
Bussy please🤣🤣🤣. People are so comfortable sharing information we don’t need to hear for engagements. This is the kind of shit I take to my grave 😳😂😂
Ayo Shonaiya is so passionate about Nigerian music. The way he talked, analysed, got emotional about it is beautiful. S/o to dj Abass too

BA's are funny. Imagine boycotting Olympics because someone was not disciplined enough to pass the drug test. There are hundreds of other black athletes that sacrificed a lot to there and we will definitely be watching. Rules are rules!

Even in Austria, they are also collecting bribes. And since last month, you can’t get your passport the same day. We’ve been waiting for over 5 weeks now after spending so much money travelling to Austria from Germany.
@dammiedammie35
I never forgot the fact our photographer refused to show up for the photo shoot for my kids 1 year birthday photoshoot after doing their 6 months photoshoot.
The guy we used for The 1 year birthday refused to turn up for the second year.
Woke up to see

trending..so cool. Funnily , I was still gisting my husband about "brutalization" yesterday but I had the best memories and made the best friends here.
I do my job according to my pay. No extra hour, no unnecessary familiarity, no emotions, zero expectations. I work on myself, on my growth and my happiness. I’m not even interested in lead or whatever. Just pay me and let’s move on.
They need to pay my son for entertaining them in this house..the highlight of yesterday was him massaging my mum's tribal marks asking her if it's painful😂
@hereforbantz
This is sad! Why marry a Nigerian in the first place if you can't stand the skin colour and the culture? Why even bother giving birth to mixed babies if you are not ready for what it entails 🤔
Berlin's friendliness and openness tend to be exaggerated. For a city that is "international ", that city is not friendly! If you have your tribe, you will survive .
Have you been to NRW? People are much warmer there.
1€ is now 1,000 naira. Who would have thought? I pity students trying to do blocked account for Germany now. I remember trying to do my 8,000 € years back, the rates was 190 naira and we were running around trying to get a cheaper rate. Ended up doing it for 184 naira.
I returned from a two-week vacation, and now I am sitting in front of my computer for nearly 30 minutes, struggling to remember my password. I remember the previous one, but not this one. Now , I have to shamelessly call the helpdesk😭
I feel a sense of certain entitlement among English speakers, expecting everyone to know English. Despite its popularity, over half of the world's population communicates in 23 different languages.
@omaakatugba
Maybe not so strange..I go to Indian restaurants frequently and hardly see indians there. Most times, foreigners are trying these foods not locals. There's no way I'm going to pay 15 euros for some over priced jollof and dodo when I can make it on my own.
Berlin/Brandenburg happened to me yesterday. They stole my bicycle 😭. It’s only 5 weeks old and I just started enjoying cycling around. Even painful because it’s a gift from my husband. That was the first thing i thought of when i woke up today 😌. E pain me
All these "stay in your country" comments from some nigerians are so annoying.Even citizens of developed countries migrate to other countries for economic reasons, better standard of living etc.I understand that most nigerians relocate for economic reasons...
Just finished a shoot of family of 6. Four kids all under 5, I almost cried ☺️. Now , I just need aspirin, massage and Yasin to let go of the pain and stress.
UK digitalisation is absolutely mind boggling, efficient and cost effective.
Got my Driving Licence renewed in less than 4 days online. They used the photo on my British Passport database as opposed to the paper application we normally do
Less hassle and £14 off my account

and Francesca+Harry have used 29k. Like they are the only horny ones in the retreat? This is why I sometimes hate teamwork. I feel for my brother kelechi aka kelz the accountant😂😂
