Years ago our family was watching a Super Bowl and during halftime turned it off to pray our Rosary. That was the year of the infamous Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake halftime show. We've never watched a halftime show since, and apparently we've never missed anything special.

@John_Kass stepped into big shoes and was compelling, must read for three decades. Took on mob, crooked cops, crooked cops in mobā¦heartstring tuggers, hilarity, the little guy. After technology took his gig, he became an embittered populist churning out grievance porn.
I think he works for Dan. Not a threat. Does have some knowledge. Wrote some terrific columns. You never want to overstate the case against someone. Itās always good to compliment where itās true. That way the criticism has the ring of truth and stings even more.

Verbal should kinda be a requirement for the medium, no? Perhaps a modicum of knowledge would be a feature, not a bug? Royko wrote five columns a weekāand let the written do the talking.
