Due to a track fault, there are now delays of up to 20 minutes for trains network wide, and congestion for trains entering and exiting Britomart.
Bus services are accepting rail tickets.
All rail lines have delays: Eastern, Southern, Western, Onehunga line.
i wasn't around when st james was a thing so it's possible that i just don't get it but it's crazy to me that this has blighted midtown for as long as it has when it literally used to look like this 😭

you can now really appreciate the pretty facades on queen street without parked cars / awnings being in the way all the time
Efforts to enforce uniform architectural styles in an attempt to preserve “neighborhood character” strike me as fundamentally misguided.
These buildings are all very different and the mix of styles makes this block of Queen street in Auckland absolutely delightful to look at.

the parcelpod lockers at the Victoria street NZ Post used to be a pretty decent solution but they got rid of them for whatever reason

i finally got to see some of these recently and they're so pretty!
even my dad (in his late 60s) is excited about them popping up everywhere
