I lost my mum last year to cancer. My mum didn’t like the royals. I feel so so sad at this news. I wonder if I feel compassion for anyone affected by cancer but also somehow it brings back memories even if I don’t know the person. So a bit teary because of how scary it is.

Dear venues in the north who make northern actors travel down to London , for a show based in the north. Please reconsider your policy. It may not work for everyone. It just takes one person to be like ‘nah this isn’t the one!’ It could be YOU! Do it! Go on!
Feeling this 👇 it wasn’t accessible before & I was hopeful after the pandemic. But I’ve had 2 auditions recently for northern shows in London, last minute, over £100 for a train. As women are usually the main care givers in families it makes it even harder

Because he verbally abused her. Would you like someone insulting you while you are trying to do your job? Why could’nt he answer her questions if he has nothing to hide. He could have explained himself instead of kicking off. He doesn’t care about working classes.

Any agent who says you have to pay for workshops with them is a red flag. With newbies of course some workshops might help but it shouldn’t be conditional at all. Not sure how to protect actors here. Even with a union it still feels easy to be exploited.

Heard a group of about 10 lads on the tram using homophonic language on the tram. I managed to have a reasoned discussion with them and at the very least someone held them accountable that second. My voice shook coz shouting usually covers my fear .

Signing the final bits on my mums will. It’s easier than it should be because my sister is amazing. My heart is broke. All these milestones. Wish I lived in a bubble with no pain x being positive and manifesting doesn’t work for grief . You just have to sit in it.
