Success isn't a collection of "hacks" or "tricks."
In many cases, it's simply about persistence — Showing up one more time.
The thing I love most about that? Anyone can do it.
On the 22nd, I was announced as the First Female President of the Great Ife Student Union.
Although it was for 24 hours, it was a memorable experience for me.
From serving as campaign manager to the 44th IFUMSA President to being President, my journey has been transformative.
200l: I’m tired, I want to drop out
300l: I’m not doing again
400l: This course is after my life, I can’t continue
500l: God please. God please
600l: I’m almost done, let me just finish.
Shout out to all my chiefs who made it to the finish line. Y’all are the real MVPs!
Quickly want to drop this for my fellow young people who struggle to introduce themselves.
We’ve gotten to the points in our lives where it no longer suffices to just say your name and move on.
It’s time to upgrade how you introduce yourself to other people.
@Madam_Ufuoma
See as he’s natural. No dreads. No tattoo. No sagging. Not trying to over dress.
See as he’s neat and clean. He even has game✋🏼
No wonder she chose him😂👍🏽
@docneto
It’s not that women are prioritizing career advancement over family. The challenge is that work environments do not give room for work-life balance — a system built by men.
Women are simply working with the system they have and making the best of it for their personal growth.
@Iamkolotayo
Such an odd question.
I’d do same if I was in the mechanic fixing my husband’s car and a friend asks me “where’s your husband?”
Statements like this give us unhealthy thoughts that would cause unnecessary quarrels.
265 (Uniport)
323 (OAU)
302 (OAU) Medicine✅
Till today, I don’t understand the maths of how 323 didn’t get me medicine but 302 got me medicine on merit😂😂
@Shughennessie
I wear the badge of feminism without remorse or apology. Yes I believe women should have equal rights with men and live in a world free from discrimination and bias. If you don’t like that, keep choking.
Please continue your good work. You owe no one an apology for it.

@MphoMoalamedi
Don’t even get me on how they’re always talking about how lonely they are all the time and how they have no one to talk to because nobody cares
But then every three market days, they’re here saying man no get Wahala na why their friendship dey last and insulting the other gender
@docneto
It’s like saying that people who are in diaspora shouldn’t join their voices with Nigerians when there’s an uproar against bad leadership😂
Everybody gather Dey
Today it’s Finetouch and Superb hostel.
Tomorrow who’s next? Who will be the next victim? Who will they come for after this?
Student’s lives are being endangered.
We really fell off! The government cannot be silent. Minister of Education cannot be silent.
#FreeOAUStudents
@ortega_004
Funny how I once commented that in my hostel, boys literally move around shirtless.
Nobody is here telling men what to wear and how to wear it.
But god forbid a woman puts on a clothing, there’s suddenly an uproar.
Yesterday I was informed that I had been selected to take the President’s seat for 24 hours making me the first female President of the Great Ife Student Union.
An honour to be given responsibility over the 33,000 student of our great community.
More info coming in!

The point you’re trying to pass across that people aren’t understanding is that the consequences of rape should be victim-centered not perpetrator-centered.
Instead of talking about consequences in relation to what the perpetrator loses, talk about what the victim loses.
@TosinofCov
This might sound cute and all but I doubt I'd ever want to teach my girls to become comfortable with handing over their female care needs to other people whether fellow females or males
If you don't calculate your menstrual cycle, then carry a handy sanitary pad with you always

Thank you ND. I’ve locked it already to fund the play project I’m working on. Adding you to my list of sponsors for my stage production🤭
PS: It’s college of health sciences students that are acting!
I’ve used my two eyes to see my guys in medicine. Omo! The joy is palpable. We won the fight today!
They said the EFCC guys were telling them that we’re giving them stress. That it’s never happened before that they release people same day they took them.
Greatest gbagba!
Wrote my last incourse today.
300 questions in 75 minutes. Composure and Steeze still intact🚀
It’s been a really challenging year but glad I’m still standing.
Up next: MB aka God Abeg🤲🏽
@folakemiyusuf_
No I don’t have to be available all the time to people just because they’re reaching out.
My lack of response is enough response that I’m not available to talk. When I am, I’ll respond.
If you’re genuine, you’d understand this.
@_namedNameless
Let’s keep teaching our girls to refuse bad treatment 👏🏽
Let’s keep teaching them to not tolerate what makes them uncomfortable or disrespected 👏🏽
Let’s keep teaching them to not take a joke if it’s not funny👏🏽
Let’s keep teaching our girls to fight back 👏🏽
I’m running for the position of Public Relations Officer in

Instead of talking about how the perpetrator ruined their lives, talk about how they ruined the lives of the victims and as a result, have to face the consequences of social isolation.
@prettygirll4L
It’s called being tactical when speaking.
There are moments for being blunt but when someone claims to be blunt, they’re trying to justify themselves overstepping basic boundaries in what should have just been a nice conversation.
Love how
@Nigerian_Doctor
resurrected healthcare advocacy and positive discourse on the TL for healthcare students and professionals.
And she does it so flawlessly.
Call her the mother of the TL🤍
@FEMMY466
Their parents will alternate the birthdays each year until they’re old enough to find a different solution 😂
So this year, they’ll both celebrate in Twin A’s day and the next year, Twin B’s day😂

Hate it when I see girls who bring other women down by trying to form like they’re part of the guys’ crew.
Its giving low self esteem and need for validation and approval from men.
There was absolutely no reason for that nonsense she said.
On this NiMSA thing, officers need to come to terms with the fact that:
1. We’re officially in post covid. We’ve been here for a while.
What does this mean for you as an officer? It means NiMSAites are now more school-centric rather than capacity-centric.
@Sai_Ishaya_
I went to a school that was called “high school.” We had slightly similar uniforms to what they’re wearing.
African entertainment doesn’t always have to feature Akin and Pawpaw vibes before it represents who we are. These things represent part of our realities today.
Great Ife! The fight is not yet over!
We still have 11 of us who are being held hostage by
@officialEFCC
They must also apologize to the students whose names they’ve tarnished and take down all posts and articles.
They must be held accountable for their actions!
@Medzonetv
55 students? That’s a whole 32% failure.
If you add that to the resit, that means more than half the class are having issues.
As how? Are the lecturers not teaching?
This shows that there’s something extremely wrong with the teachers and the school system.
@XivTroy
Why did you have to lie that you were vegan though
You could have simply laughed it off or brushed it off when people brought it up
When I can’t afford stuff, I make jokes like “I’m cutting my coat according to my size”
No shame in being broke. Uni isn’t for rich people.

A woman’s choice of wedding dress is hers and you have zero right to insult or downgrade any woman for her choice.
It’s her wedding not yours. If she chooses a plain dress or a fancy one, it’s her choice to make.
@diaryofa9jagirl
I love spending time with kids. They ask the most bizarre questions that force you to confront the depth of your soul.
Now you’re gonna be thinking about who’s gonna inherit your business and if your business has a structure that’s inheritable😂
@docneto
The conversation should be titled towards adapting work environments that encourage and promote work-life balance for both genders.
There’s fulfillment in work and there’s fulfillment in family. There’s no reason to sacrifice one for the other.
I prepared a handover document for my incoming president

Thank you sir for the opportunity to wear your shoes. Heavy ones but it was a memorable experience nonetheless.

Nah. That’s wrong.
I share a room with my sister. If I’m bringing over a visitor especially male, no matter the time of the day, I inform her and if I’m unable to inform her ahead of time, when I get to the door, I inform her that I have someone with me.
It’s simple courtesy
Women were powerfully present there at Ibadan.
Women clamored for their release in the face of tear gas and rifles.
Women stood firm in the face of terror and were relentless.
Women also led the protest on campus against the illegal raid and abduction
Women are Great Ife👍🏽
▪️Men left home to fight for men.
▪️Men stood before fired riffle.
▪️Men stood firm for men.
▪️Men echoed till the world heard their voices.
▪️Men subjected themselves to risks.
▪️Men saved men and ready to protect men's integrity.
▪️Men are Great IFE✊

Hi I’m Amarachi and I’m all about three things:
1. Personal Development
2. Leadership
3. Social Impact
I value three things
1. Community
2. Capacity Building
3. Empowering women for leadership
In my free time, I love to
1. Learn
2. Execute Projects
3. Meet new people
You?

This is something I’ll always be proud of my mum for😂
My mum will never! Unless maybe if she’s preaching sha. But I sleep everyday with peace of mind knowing my mum will never do anything online that’ll make me cringe😂
@folakemiyusuf_
I’ve never understood the whole idea behind making people’s struggles about you and thinking that you’re doing them a favour by checking in and forcing them to respond.
When you have a friend that’s going through stuff, just be there for them and if you can’t, let them be.
@Jibsman1
So a man who is 40 and not married is not miserable and a woman who is same is miserable?
You guys just need women to depend on you so much and when she’s not dependent, your life has no purpose and that’s why you try hard to feed us the misery narrative.
@lolaloveandart
Take a look at how you’ve delivered a reasonable point to support the thesis of your argument.
Now take a look at the comments these men are making.
Can’t even have a proper conversation with a stranger on twitter without sounding silly not to talk of the women in your life.
@perfectioncraze
According to research, women are the highest victims of violence, especially when it comes to relationships and marriages
Like you don’t get. The highest form of violence in human race is the violence done against women
And people wonder why we try so hard to protect ourselves
Today makes it 1 year; 365 days since I was sworn into office as the Clerk or the IFUMSA Student Representative Body which serves as the Legislative Arm of Government of IFUMSA.
It's been a long yet fulfilling journey filled with life long valuable lessons.
Prayed on the mountain for the first time today and I loved every bit of the experience.
Best part… I did it with my friends. O yeah. Went for mountaineering with my friends. Would totally recommend😚
Today I unveiled my campaign website, the first of its kind of IFUMSA designed by
@thebenodeyemi
Many people would ask why considering I am running unopposed.
Why not though? If I can go the extra mile, why not?
If I can do more, why do less?
From winning the Most Promising Honourable award as a Part 1 Constituency Rep to winning Honourable of the Year (Preclinicals) award as a Part 2 Constituency Rep.
We’ve come a long way in this parliamentary journey and I’m excited for what lies ahead in my journey!

Sometimes I randomly think to myself that this is where suicide starts from.
That lingering thought that if death somehow comes, all the problems would go away.
Big actions come disguised in little thoughts that seem harmless
Hang in there. Everything will make sense soon.
For your introduction template, use the “Past, Present, Future Tense” template.
Here’s how it works:
1. Who are you currently and what do you do?
2. How does that link up to your past accomplishments?
3. What’s the vision for the future?
I’ll give an example:
Moderating the Panel Session for the Education and Economics Students of Nigeria.
This conversation is particularly an inspiring one because I’ve always kept at the back of my mind that school is just a part of my journey and someday, I’ll be out of the system.
To my chiefs in COHS prepping to resume preclinicals, start reading.
Take about two weeks to rest and then begin reading.

I would find it exceedingly disturbing to have male related care items in my house. Like why I gotta take responsibility for you? You're an adult. Prepare for your emergency. Be a responsible adult
Let’s say I’m in a career workshop:
I’m Amarachi Godswill-Nwankwo, a second year medical student with an interest in Women’s Health.
Previously, I’ve interned with Fertitude, a femtech organization.
I’m looking forward to specializing in obstetrics and gynecology.
This year has been the most unproductive year. This whole Asuu thing be causing real mental stress.
How can we be out of school for more than 3 months? Two elephants are fighting and we the students are the casualties.
The Federal Government on the other hand don't even care
there are two types of women ,the type that’ll reply “i’m fine” to a how’re you question and the type that’ll actually tell you how they are.
women don’t realize their replies are the ultimate determinant of how a conversation flows.
Whether you’re in a social or corporate setting, having an introduction template will do a lot for your networking.
Making a good impression when you meet people is super important because that’s how they’ll determine if they’ll continue the conversation with you.
@snrmanOA
Left to me, I’d love for my wedding reception to hold like a family dinner.
Just me, my family, his family, some close friends all gathered together on a dinner table where we can just eat and talk and laugh.
All that crowd isn’t for me.
@amenahuruemu
@keish2o
“Did they complain about the conditions of the universities they trained in as not good enough?”
Yes we do. We do every single day. It’s literally the subject of conversation. University system is terrible. Healthcare system is terrible. Let the government fix up.
@ToyosiGodwin
Nothing builds a girl’s confidence like having a father who has her back.
That girl is going places. Everytime she doubts herself, she’ll remember that she has a dad who believes she can be anything and everything.
So recently, I saw a "supposed" medical student who said he'd made a million naira on Expertnaire.
According to him, he's been buying expensive textbooks and hasn't made a dime from medicine.
First of all, please, medicine is a noble profession. Put that into your skull.
Gave a brand presentation for
@fertitude
at the women’s reproductive health session organized by Menstrual Health Initiative.
Fertitude is every woman’s one-stop for navigating her reproductive health journey at every stage.
Grateful to
@kievaamusan
for the opportunity
Moments in my life that changed everything…
1. Failing my first SSCE exam and then acing it the second time
2. Missing medicine cutoff by .1 and getting in the second year on merit
3. Losing my first election in uni and then winning three elections consecutively
Carpe diem!
@maazidumebi
The narrative in the quoted tweet infers that the goal of a rapist should be to protect their image at all cost, rather than advocating against rape.
It doesn’t make a case against rape. It makes a case for sex offenders to be “smarter” in their crime and not get caught
Proudly a fellow of the Clinton Global Initiative University🫶🏼
Evidence for 2023 dey.
Congratulations to me and big thanks once again to
@KingTesla11
for sharing this opportunity with me.
You wouldn’t believe I wasn’t confident I’d get in but he convinced me I would🤍
@_Hydonni
It doesn’t work that way. You don’t sit people down and ask them about their childhood traumas unless you’re a licensed therapist and they came to you for mental health support.
You can create a safe space for them to share their traumas with you but you can’t force them to talk
You can’t beat someone who’s playing the long term game.
Someone who isn’t playing to win, but to stay in the game.
Someone whose competition is who they were yesterday.
Someone who’s focused on themselves and their goals.
Someone who doesn’t need validation or approval.
@splendiduche
I'm in medical school. My sister is studying to be an engineer. The youngest dreams of being in robotics.
Everytime I look at all three of us, I remind my sisters to be grateful we had parents who are enlightened.
Today we can dream big because our parents gave us permission
Since covid days, I’ve dedicated myself to learning new things whether or not I was going to use the knowledge.
I’d take courses on things like videography, photography, web design, coding, financial analysis and just about anything.
Recently decided to take a course on UI/UX
