The subways’ vulnerability to rain-driven floods has been painfully obvious at least since the floods in 2007. There has been some improvement, but it’s wild to see how spotty the hardening of the system has been in all this time.
There is only extremely limited subway service available because of heavy flooding caused by rainfall. Service may be suspended on certain stations.
Check to see if service is running at your station.
