This is genuinely mind blowing. A duly elected sitting President is, well within the authority granted to him, auditing the operations of the branch he controls. It’s a “coup” because he’s not a progressive, I gather?
there is no coup, of course. but coup hysteria? this is how you prepare the public for regime change, which is what the media is asking for right now. if the government begins to echo the press, we'll actually be in danger of everything they screamed on january 6th.

Can someone tell me which of these points people like Kara & Scott disagree with: 1. The President was fairly elected. 2. The President is the Chief of the executive branch, including all agencies of that branch. 3. In this duty, the president has requested an audit of the spending of the branch he controls. 4. He hired a team of people to do this. Which part of this is a coup? Which part of this do they take logical issue with? Of course, we all know the truth is that they’re upset that they view this as “their side” losing and therefore “their side” losing their political pet projects.
🚩 Kara Swisher & Scott Galloway Are in Full Panic Mode Now Calling for the Arrest of the @DOGE Engineers “I want to see Democratic governors … use the full faith and the letter of the law to put you folks in prison … This is a coup … We need to go gangster here.”

Coming back to this: could this not be considered a breach of fiduciary duty? For example, imagine Ford said “we made the best electric car ever but decided not to release it.” That’s gotta be a breach, right?
Anthropic cofounder Ben Mann says they had an early version of Claude in March 2022 that they chose not to launch publicly out of concerns that it "would cause too much acceleration" and even though it was "pretty basic", delaying the release allowed 6 more months to work on safety

Beautiful accidental self refutation of the entire “AI safety” worldview We’ve all used Deepseek, this “dangerous” model We can all see for ourselves via direct experience that “AI safety” is nonsense RELEASE THE UBER CLAUDE DAMMIT
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei says AI safety evaluations conducted on DeepSeek showed that it was the worst-performing model they had ever tested at generating potentially dangerous information
